BRAD WILL BE LOOKING FOR SONGS FOR...

New artist, CARAH CROSSWHITE (American Idol)  She's very Sam Hunt-type sound, all of his tracks, leaning a little more towards pop, ala  Alessia Cara, Here, Wild Things, Overdose.

JOSH RONAN, very Cat Stevens and James Taylor mix, with deep lyrical content. His high register turns into Daughtry.  Has a killer natural soft falsetto. Some of his very attractive turn-arounds are reminiscent of Lionel Ritchie.

IF YOU HAVE A SONG YOU WANT HEARD, BRING IT ON A CD WITH TYPED LYRIC SHEET.

BRAD SAID, IF ALL YOU HAVE IS A VOICE AND GUITAR, OR VOICE AND PIANO DEMO, THAT WILL BE FINE FOR THIS EVENT!!

    SHERRILL BLACKMAN

    Tempo, Tempo, Tempo!

Sherrill needs songs with lyrical depth and substance!  Dig deep to find unique/fresh ideas to write about!

    Always Looking For:

Country:  Sherrill wants writers to think lyrical depth 'ala' "Live Like You Were Dying" or "The House That Built Me" but in a mid- to up-tempo rhythm/beat.  Melodies need to be fresh and contemporary!
Bluegrass:  Sherrill always needs bluegrass, but it needs to be authentic, honest to God, true bluegrass!  (No "fake-grass" or "country that could be bluegrass if they produced it that way")

Sherrill always pitches to Contemporary Christian artists when the opportunity arises.

    Never Looking For:

Sherrill does NOT need ballads in any genre!
    No novelty songs!
No Bro-country!(songs with tan-lines, tailgates, bonfires, red solo cups, Jack/Jim, dirt roads, etc.)

    LEIGH REYNOLDS

"I am looking for great songs in general!"

Leigh is still listening for his young male artist (early 30's) - this guy is a GREAT SINGER!  So, give him a melody to show off his pipes.  Again, NO bro-country!

Female Duo - Leigh needs songs for a female duo!

Both girls are amazing singers and good writers, so think OUTSIDE THE BOX in terms of hooks/ideas and great melodies!

    TED HEWITT

But, they will be recording more songs as they find them!

Think of something "Unpredictable" and not your  typical Rodney song!

The Van Lears - Brother Duo
Ted is still looking for a duet - nothing too sappy!

Ted is looking for a "guitar driven" song 'ala' Emerson Heart's "The Best That I Can Give"
